For many years, the pituitary hormone oxytocin was viewed as nothing more than a hormone responsible for uterine contraction during vaginal delivery. But oxytocin is proving to be far more than that.
In particular, we are witnessing substantial youth-preserving, even age-reversing, effects from boosting oxytocin. We achieve this by cultivating the probiotic microorganism, L reuteri of two specific strains and increasing bacterial counts markedly via a special fermentation process.
End-result: increased strength and muscle, preserve bone density, increased libido, accelerated healing, and smoother skin with fewer or less prominent wrinkles, in other word restoration of many facets of youthfulness.
I’ve been doing a lot of reading of blog posts on this yogurt trying to clear up some questions I have, but with no luck. There have been a couple of passing comments about a rise in testosterone levels, but nothing specifically about how this would affect women? Clearly there are a few concerns about the yogurt in regards to women generally – it would be nice to see an article where this is actually addressed in some detail, as even just reading the comments, there are clearly a few women who would appreciate some further information & clarification!
The possible issues for women are often not mentioned at all in blog & facebook posts about the yogurt (I had seen a lot of posts pushing the yogurt as wonderful before I read any concerns at all), and a lot of women might not even be aware of them.
I haven’t a taken the reuteri supplement because of Dr D’s comment about women who’ve had estrogen reactor positive cancer should not take this. Will following the WB woe and all the supplements give the same benefits as the hormone mentioned above?

This would be this article (as amended for younger people generally).
As far as I know, there are no newer updates to that advice.
re: «Will following the WB woe and all the supplements give the same benefits as the hormone mentioned above?»
Following the Undoctored program, or the 2014+ Wheat Belly program will provide all the benefits of those programs, but not the additional benefits of the L.r. yogurt. Keep in mind that the extra benefits of the yogurt were first noticed by people already doing the full Undoctored/WB programs.
There are a number of questions and possible opportunities on this, for which I don’t have answers. The parent culture for Lactobacillus reuteri ATCC PTA 6475 (a patented strain) was apparently ATCC 55730, isolated from a human female. It is apparently still common in non-industrialized populations, so it’s “natural”.
Would just taking the Biogaia® Gastrus® tablets, as a probiotic, provide some benefit, without provoking risk? We’re pretty sure one tablet per day wouldn’t provide the effects of the yogurt, but could be expected to provide the benefits documented for that product. Biogaia, interestingly, does not appear to caution on using Gastrus in ER+ situations.
Then we have the question of cancer generally on Undoctored/WB diets, and in particular if insulin is kept low (ER+ cancers appear to have the altered PI3K mutations with upregulated InsR). It could be that this diet/lifestyle reduces cancer/recurrence risk dramatically, but I doubt anyone really knows yet. Anyone desiring to take a chance on it would probably want to make a non-dairy yogurt, to avoid the native and added estrogens in dairy. If your doctor has you on an mTOR inhibitor (such as metformin or everolimus), or an actual PI3K inhibitor, they’d probably have a valuable opinion on all this.

I haven’t made the reuteri yogurt yet but I’ve been taking a Reuteri Primodophilus capsule dailly since last summer. I also started drinking collagen peptides daily since then as well.
I honestly believe I’m way more empathic and my skin wrinkles have diminished. I retain and grow muscle mass faster. I have no way of knowing whether it’s the Reuteri or a combination of both but I’m amazed.
